We Watched the Final Launch of NASA's Shuttle Program . . .
Growing up in suburban Western New York State, some of my fondest memories are watching Saturn Rockets Blast Off for Outer Space . . . and looking through National Geographic Magazines at the Diagrams of what Happened when John Glenn's Heat Shield wasn't Aligned Properly.
It was bittersweet for me, to watch today around 11:30am EST, as it was announced that, "The engines of the Space Shuttle just went quiet for the last time" . . . Hey Washington Please Keep Funding Our Space Programs !!
Don't Stop Believing in a Bright Future ! ! !
